Financials Consultant
Position Overview
The Groove is in search of Financials Consultants with expertise in Financial Management systems, including General Ledger, Billing, Receivables, Procurement, Payables, Expenses, Asset Management, and Projects. In your role as a Workday Financials Consultant, you will steer clients through Workday implementations, shepherding them from the transformation phase to the operational phase. Your responsibilities will include becoming a Workday Financials expert, recommending solutions based on client needs, facilitating design sessions, supporting clients throughout the project, and participating in training and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise in Workday Financials, covering design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
- Recommend solutions aligned with client requirements, budget, and timeframe, adapting as needed.
- Guide clients through design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and their unique business needs.
- Support clients through all project phases, ensuring a seamless transition to the Workday solution.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress and changes.
- Engage in training and knowledge sharing within the organization.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of functional financials experience with ERP systems.
- Proficiency in financial processes such as general ledger, budgeting, cash management, procure-to-pay, etc.
- Workday Financials certification is highly desired.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to collaborate across teams.
- Up to 50% travel may be required.
